The Head of Product Americas is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the regional product and portfolio strategy across a diverse and evolving market landscape. Reporting to the CEO, Americas, this role ensures the competitiveness, profitability, and relevance of the product portfolio while aligning closely with global innovation priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Strategy & Portfolio Management
• Define and execute the regional product and portfolio strategy aligned with business and global innovation priorities
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including launches, optimization, and SKU rationalization to reduce complexity
• Ensure a competitive, relevant, and future-ready portfolio across markets
Commercial Excellence & Growth
• Drive pricing strategy, product positioning, and margin optimization
• Support commercial teams with product expertise to strengthen go-to-market execution and product adoption
• Lead category growth initiatives and diversification beyond core product segments
Market Insight & Cross-Functional Leadership
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
• Track product performance and profitability, identifying improvement opportunities
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, and Sales to align strategy and execution
EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field required
• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus
EXPERIENCE
• 10–15 years of experience in product management or marketing within B2B environments
• Strong track record in portfolio strategy, pricing, and margin management
• Experience managing complex product portfolios across multiple markets
• Demonstrated ability to drive product launches and lifecycle management
• Experience working in industrial, lubricants, automotive, or related sectors preferred
• Proven ability to operate in a market-driven, commercially focused environment
