Job description
Motul is seeking Marketing and Communications Manager to lead our marketing efforts across North America. In this role, you will develop and execute local marketing and communication initiatives aligned with Motul Group’s global objectives. You’ll be responsible for strengthening brand awareness, ensuring consistent messaging, and managing stakeholder engagement, while also supporting our Trade Marketing team to drive in-market activation and sales enablement. Key Responsibilities
Marketing and Communications
• Adapts the group marketing and communication strategy to the local North America market ensuring alignment with global marketing objectives.
• Ensures consistent brand identity across all customer touchpoints, supporting product and marketing teams in proper implementation of Motul’s brand identity.
• Serves as the primary liaison between HQ (France) and the business unit for all brand and communication initiatives.
• Oversees the marketing efforts (planning and execution) of trade shows, races, regional events, sponsorships, promotions, and partnerships to optimize engagement and drive growth.
• Collaborate with the Group on digital and content marketing campaigns and be responsible for the execution within the BU.
• Manages brand and marketing content including online websites, social media, landing pages, news updates, and dealer locators, ensuring brand consistency.
• Oversees e-commerce efforts and leads the digital transformation of brand touchpoints, promoting innovation and alignment with marketing and sales goals.
• Manages sponsorship and influencer strategies that reflect the brand’s image and support strategic goals.
• Supports trade marketing initiatives to align with product launches, sales promotions, and retailer engagement efforts.
• Leads the Marketing team to achieve optimal results, ensuring the necessary resources are available to execute the business strategy.
• Monitors local markets trend and competitors to evaluate their effectiveness and impact.
Budget Management
• Responsible for managing the local marketing budget and hitting operational expenses targets.
• Identifies effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with KPI’s tracking and analysis.
• Analyses and measures the Return on Investment (ROI) of the promotional plan, through the definition of a ROI methodology calculation.

• Works closely with all departments (Sales, Product, Supply Chain, Technical, and Finance) to align the marketing initiatives and BU objectives.
• Defines and implements appropriate internal procedures and best practices.

Education/ Experience:
Bachelor's or master's Degree from University or Business School
+6 years’ experience in a Marketing – Trade, Brand, Communications
+3 years as a team leader/project manager position
PMP Certification – desired
Proven track of results in similar B2B or B2C environments preferably in the Automotive or Powersport Industry
Additional requirements
Valid Driver License.
Passport to allow international travel.
Travel Up to 50%.
