As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, and leading key industrial projects across Motul’s manufacturing sites in the Americas. Working closely with global teams, you’ll help shape the future of our production network and support our continued growth.


Scope

You’ll contribute directly to the performance of our regional production hubs, collaborating across functions—Procurement, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Marketing—at Group, Regional, and Business Unit levels.


What You’ll Do


1. Lead Manufacturing Process Development



  • Support new plant launches and long-term development strategies.

  • Drive smooth industrialization of new products from manufacturing to quality.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to boost performance.

  • Manage quality-related topics including claims, audits, and root cause analysis.


2. Take Ownership of Projects



  • Lead diverse industrial projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet deadlines, quality, and budget targets.

  • Set project management standards and streamline processes.

  • Predict and allocate resources to keep everything running smoothly.

  • Monitor budgets, timelines, and performance—and adapt when needed.

  • Partner with suppliers and vendors to align expectations and deliverables.


3. Grow and Support Our Regional Production Hubs



  • Be a quality and productivity advocate across the region.

  • Keep local teams aligned with group strategy and identify areas for improvement.

  • Help manage manufacturing complexity and scalability.

  • Build robust capacity plans aligned with business goals.

  • Roll out visual management tools and operational KPIs.

  • Present regular performance insights to stakeholders and leadership.
     

Profile

What You Bring



  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred).

  • A plus if you’ve specialized in Strategy or Business Development.

  • Bonus points for Project Management or Lean Six Sigma certifications.


Experience That Stands Out



  • 7+ years in operations planning or management.

  • 2+ years in project management.

  • Experience with quality systems in operations is a strong asset.

  • Background in international manufacturing environments is highly valued. 


Skills You’ll Use Daily



  • Expertise in industrial engineering and production optimization.

  • Strong command of project tools like ASANA, and Microsoft Office.

  • Great communicator—whether you’re speaking to engineers or execs.

  • Fluent in English; Spanish or Portuguese is a big plus.


Industry Insight



  • Deep knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry.

  • Understanding of international operations and sales environments.
