Position description :
The Head of IT Business Applications, Americas is a senior leadership role responsible for managing and optimizing the regional IT applications landscape. This role ensures the effective deployment, integration, and performance of core business systems (ERP, CRM, BI, and data platforms), while aligning IT capabilities with business priorities and digital transformation goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IT Strategy & Business Alignment • Define and execute the IT applications roadmap aligned with business priorities and transformation initiatives • Act as a key interface between IT and business teams, ensuring solutions meet operational and commercial needs • Partner closely with the Head of Digital & Data and regional leadership to drive value from IT investments Systems, Integration & Delivery • Lead deployment, integration, and optimization of core systems (ERP, CRM, BI, data architecture) across the Americas • Drive ERP standardization and harmonization across multiple countries • Oversee system reliability, performance, and application lifecycle management (upgrades, enhancements) • Ensure successful delivery of IT projects on time and within budget Governance, Adoption & Operations • Ensure alignment with global IT standards, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks • Drive user adoption, change management, and training across business functions • Manage external vendors and system integrators to deliver high-quality solutions • Optimize IT costs, performance, and operational efficiency

EDUCATION • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required • MBA or equivalent is a plus • Certifications such as SAP, PMP, or Agile are advantageous EXPERIENCE • 10–12 years of experience in IT applications or systems leadership roles • Strong ERP experience (SAP or equivalent), including multi-country rollouts • Proven track record managing complex IT programs and large-scale system deployments • Experience operating in multi-country or regional environments (Americas preferred) • Strong exposure to business processes (finance, supply chain, sales) • Experience managing vendors, system integrators, and IT budgets • Exposure to Brazil (Finance systems and localization) is a strong advantage EXPERTISE Systems & Architecture • ERP leadership (SAP or equivalent) and enterprise application ecosystems • Systems integration and data architecture alignment Program Delivery & Governance • Large-scale program and project management • Governance, standardization, and process harmonization across regions Business Enablement & Adoption • Business process expertise across finance, supply chain, and commercial flows • Change management and user adoption strategies

In the MOTUL IT Business Applications department, the internal Finance consultant reports to the Business Support Manager. He/She is responsible for managing running activities (requests, incidents, corrective and evolutive maintenance) as well as contributing to Business projects (deployment of core model in new countries, core model enhancement, S/4HANA transition, integration of new SAP satellites…). The scope is composed of mainly SAP ERP FI/CO domain (ECC6 then S/4HANA), Procure to Pay and eInvoicing. The internal consultant is particularly in charge of: · Adhering and sticking to internal IT operating model, including technology standards, deployment methodology, release management, change management, time management and other related processes and procedures · Contribute to global solution architecture and ensure a core model approach · Building and maintaining documentation · Contributing to Key Users training (train the trainers approach) and training material building · Collaborating with other IT functional and technical teams as well as TMA teams (on site, nearshore)

Expert in SAP FI/CO modules, good knowledge of SAP SD/MM modules Knowledge for electronic invoicing and dematerialization for account payable and receivable Able to manage in parallel running activities and projects Willing and ability to become a domain lead Project management Very good contact with Business stakeholders

About you : - You have an ability to work in an international environment within a human-sized team. - You have SAP Certifications and/or official trainings in the related modules (SD & MM) for SAP R/3 and S/4HANA. - You have a huge expérience in SAP SD/MM modules. - You know how to manage several projects at once and make decisions.
